What is your photography style?
I focus on capturing real emotion and those candid moments, making sure my clients feel comfortable! I want my clients to forget they are in front of a camera and simply showcase their natural connection.
How do I book a session?
You can book a session by contacting me on this website's contact form or by emailing me directly at uvphotograph@gmail.com so we can discuss details and secure the date.
Do you offer prints or albums?
Of course! My website offers a variety of print options and I can create a custom album for you as well.
How long have you been a photographer?
I started my business in 2018, but I have been photographing longer than that. I started with family portraits before expanding into weddings, engagements, and beyond.
Do you travel for sessions? Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
I do travel for sessions! I am based in Beloit, WI but consider Milwaukee, Chicago, Madison, and Minneapolis all part of my homebase. Beyond these areas. travel expenses may be added depending on your location.
What is the best time for engagement or family photos?
Golden hour (aka the hour before sunset) is ideal for any outdoor photography sessions. The hour after sunrise can also be a great choice.
How to you handle working with young children?
Honestly, I let kids be kids so I let them move around. I use games, prompts, and props to engage them and capture their true emotion. As a mom myself I know sometimes there is no use asking a kid to sit still.
What should we wear to our session?
I recommend wearing clothes you feel confident and comfortable in. Neutral clothing without patterns is ideal. If you need some ideas, I can give those too!
Do you work with a second photographer? What's the advantage of hiring one?
Yes, I do! A second photographer can be added to my wedding packages and the top-tier package already includes one. Second photographers are a fantastic way to get more photos of your special day. Normally I can't be two places at once, but this allows for a lot more flexibility.
Can I customize my wedding session package?
Absolutely! If my standard packages don't fit your needs, let's talk about a custom option that works perfectly for your day!
What if the weather is bad on the day of our session?
We can always reschedule or look for for a good indoor location as well.
How long does it take to recieve the photos?
This can vary depending on the type of session you have booked and the time of year. Most sessions are delivered within 3 weeks. I will always communicate with you on what to expect.
