About the Photographer

Hey! I’m Violet, a weddingphotographer with a love for all things coffee, plants, and reading. I grew up in the Milwaukee area, went to the University of Minnesota (go Gophers!), and even spent some time living in Hilo, Hawaii, where I soaked up as much sunshine and island life as I could.

I’m a science nerd through and through, especially when it comes to microbiology or infectious diseases (weird, I know). But when I’m not geeking out over that or chasing after my next shot, I’m probably chasing after my son—or my next cup of coffee. My boyfriend and I love exploring new restaurants (big foodie over here) or trying out new recipes at home. And don’t get me started on plants… my monstera is basically a part of the family at this point.

On the rare occasions I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me baking up a storm (my dream side hustle is a bakery), getting lost in a romance novel, or dragging my family to botanical gardens, museums, or the zoo. Life’s a busy adventure, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!
