Hi, I'm Violet
Hey there, and welcome!
I’m a photographer serving the Wisconsin, Chicago, and Twin Cities areas. My journey started with a background in biology and even some experience in matchmaking (yes, really!), but photography quickly stole my heart.
It all clicked when I became an aunt and captured my nephew’s first sweet moments. From that point on, I knew I wanted to turn this passion into a career. I’ve since expanded from family photography to engagements and weddings, and I can’t imagine doing anything else!
Fun fact: I once lived in Hawaii and spent my days soaking up inspiration from those breathtaking landscapes. Oh, and when I'm not behind the camera, I’m probably chasing after my energetic little boy or diving into research on infectious diseases (I’m still a science geek at heart).

My Philosophy
I believe everyone deserves to have their most cherished moments captured beautifully—whether it’s your first Christmas together, a new engagement, saying “I do,” or celebrating the growth of your family. Life is filled with moments worth remembering, and I’m here to make sure those memories last.
What sets my approach apart is how I create a comfortable, natural experience. My goal is to help you forget the camera is even there so that your genuine emotions and connections shine through in every shot.
